I was blessed in 2004 to go out to Sri lanka with a medical team after the Tsunami. I had been chosen to go out with the travel party in Trincomlee. It was very hectic but team spirit was unbelieveable. Our team of medical staff were going down like flies with sickness. I'd been asked if i could lie some air mattereses on the floor so staff could get a lie down. I was on my own i thought. I heard this cat screeming in pain. it was on the top of some boxes too high for me to reach it. It's back leg was crushed and it was distressing to hear the cat in so much pain. There was an archway between the boxes and hallway. I put my hands out to the cat and with all my might i prayed so hard for the cat not to be in pain. Within a few minutes the cat had jumped on to the archway but in mid air i witnessed the cats leg been fixed while in flight. It was as if it was in slow motion. The cat ran off into the court yard. The feeling of emotion was so overwhelming inside me that i fell to my knees. I sobbed and sobbed. I was happy to have been on my own to get this emotion out of my system. Later that evening when packing up a doctor said to me "come and look at the cat" I looked at her. She said Sheena i saw you this morning with the cat. 'come and see the cat' what i saw was the cat running around the forcourt and it had no sign of any injuries. I felt a miracle had happened.
